GOSPEL MOM, by Emily A. Jensen & Laura Wifler

How to Make Biblical Decisions and Discover The Mom God Created You To Be

All of us want to be called “good moms,” but what exactly that is feels like a moving target. Each decision in motherhood seems to present a thousand overwhelming options, or our circumstances suddenly change and we can’t keep up with “the plan,” or we see another mom making different choices and begin to doubt our own.

But when we can plant our feet firmly in the hope of the gospel, we find the freedom to be the unique mom God created each of us to be. Suddenly, the pressure to fit the mold doesn’t carry as much weight—and that’s where we find freedom.

Esther, by Kelly Minter

A beautiful queen, her courageous cousin, a foreign land, and a murderous adversary—the book of Esther has all the elements of an epic drama. The story unfolds at a time when the people of God are split between nations with an uncertain future. While the name of God may not be mentioned in the book of Esther, its pages highlight His work among His people and foreshadow Jesus’s very ministry to us—darkness to light, mourning to celebration, death to life.

In this 7-session study, Kelly Minter invites you into the daring faith modeled by Esther and her cousin Mordecai—a faith developed over time, rooted in the goodness of God, lived out through extraordinary circumstances, and used to change the world. Although our time looks different from Esther’s, our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called you for such a time as this.

  • Discover how Esther’s story inspires us to live faithfully and courageously in our own time.
  • Understand how the book of Esther fits into God’s redemptive story.
  • Be reminded that God is always at work in every place and at all times, and is faithful to His promises.
  • See how God uses faithful men and women working together to accomplish His redemptive purposes in the world.

30 Days with Jesus, by Lysa Terkeurst & Dr. Joel Muddamalle

Experiencing His Presence Throughout the Old and New Testaments

When world events feel chaotic and scary …
When you feel crippled by fear and anxiety …
When you feel hurt by the very people you thought you could count on …

It’s tempting to wonder, Jesus, are You here? Do You care?

Though we may feel alone sometimes, Jesus assures us we are not. Even when we can’t see Him, He is here. Even when we aren’t hearing Him, He isn’t silent. How can we know this for sure? Because Jesus is never absent throughout Scripture, and He’s certainly not absent in our lives either.

  • Reframe your questions and doubts as opportunities to look for Jesus with greater intentionality throughout your day.
  • Make connections between the Old and New Testaments so you can understand the Bible as one complete story.
  • Overcome dread or confusion toward studying Scripture as you receive six weeks of guided readings, reflection questions and relevant takeaways.

Jesus isn’t hiding from us; He’s waiting to be seen by us. Let this Bible study help you experience His presence every single day.

ROOTED, Connect with God, The Church and Your Purpose

In a world marked by constant change where we are surrounded by chaos and confusion, our attention pulled in every which way, God’s Word clearly lays the foundation for transformational Christian living. With our eyes set on Him (Hebrews 12:2) and our roots in the Truth of God’s word (Colossians 3:16), we can be sure God will produce the kind of life-change that will echo through His Kingdom for generations to  come.

You will experience 7 Rhythms throughout Rooted that were first modeled by the early church. By committing to practicing these rhythms in community, you will begin to see the type of growth and life change that goes beyond the individual to impact the whole church.
